Esther Mcconnell. Coffee Table. December 19th , 2017.
Nearly every home has at least one television, and depending on the size, TV's can take up a lot of valuable space. Be sure to keep yours on a piece of furniture that can be used for storing other items like books, DVD's and video tapes. Or, consider hanging the TV from the ceiling with a kit similar to those used in hospital rooms.
The second coffee table from JCPenney is the Dunbar Storage Cocktail table. This is a very interesting piece which is quite beautifully crafted. It has round knob legs at the bottom which gives it character. It has six drawers with brass handles, and the full storage table has a walnut finish. It is beautifully priced at $299.
The Chloe coffee table in their collection is made of hardwood. It is a long, one-level table with the legs slightly flaring out. The finish on the table is the customer's choice of either black or mahogany. This sleek table would be about $300.
Another rule of thumb is to keep the scale of furniture in any room uniform. A small stool in a large den with huge recliners and tables will look very odd. Thus, you must keep the sizing of the furniture in mind while purchasing them from the furniture store. You must choose practical secondary furniture for every room. If you like reading before sleeping, you can buy a side table to keep the table lamp and place it by your bed. Again, if you entertain guests in your living room, you can buy a useful side table and arrange it at the end of the sofa.
Don't forget the backs of doors and the inside of closet doors as organizers and hooks can be hung there to make use of the otherwise wasted space. Shoe bags should be hung on closet doors to free up shelf and floor space.
